Molteni&C and Dada Flagship Store

When Molteni & C decided to launch a flagship store in London’s Shaftsbury Avenue they turned to Space at Work, part of the Molteni Group of Companies, for the fit-out work.

Space at Work has a long-running success in fitting out beautiful spaces in and around London. One such project that they are particularly proud of is DPG/Formfittings in Charterhouse Street.

After taking the initial brief from Italian design house Studio Cerri & Associates and working with local architects Diverse they developed a scheme which worked in terms of building regulations, budget and timescales, whilst maintaining the original design intent.

The works involved a complete strip out of the retail unit and installation of new mechanical electrical and plumbing services. A new plasterboard ceiling was built incorporating a new lighting scheme, time and mood controlled for the space. Walls were clad and plastered for the new space. Data cabling, AV, telecom and security systems were installed as specified. In the final phase Space at Work co-ordinated with both Molteni and Dada to assist in the final fit out which included the installation of a white laminate floor, a select range of domestic furniture and several kitchen displays.
